PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Alstasan Silvox 150 Fume is a ready-to-use air fumigation liquid for closed spaces - 0.5% w/v accelerated hydrogen peroxide with silver stabilisers and aloe vera extract, fogged through a heat fogger or smoke machine. It clears airborne germs and contaminants rather than surfaces, and the silver ions stay active in the air for 24 to 36 hours, so a single fumigation holds a room rather than resetting the moment the fog clears.

Six 1-litre bottles suit a fumigation routine spread across sites or rooms rather than one large space - a clinic with several consulting rooms, a school with classrooms, a company with meeting rooms on different floors. One bottle travels with the fogger, the rest stay sealed, and a part-used bottle is a small loss rather than a large one.

It contains no alcohol, glycerine or chlorine, so the fumes are non-toxic and leave no glycerine film on furniture - the usual complaint after conventional fogging. The aloe vera extract acts as a humectant, holding moisture in the fog so it spreads further and settles evenly. Switch smoke detectors off before fogging and back on afterwards.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • 15-minute contact time — Fog, leave it 15 to 20 minutes, exhaust through the AC. A room is back in service inside half an hour.
  • Holds for 24-36 hours — Silver ions remain active in the air after the fog has gone, so protection does not end when fumigation does.
  • No glycerine, alcohol or chlorine — Non-toxic fumes with no glycerine haze, no alcohol fire risk and no chlorine smell - the three reasons staff object to fumigation.
  • Reaches what spraying misses — Settles on AC vents, upholstery, curtains and fabric, which is exactly where a spray bottle never goes.
  • Deodorises and lifts air quality — Clears odour in poorly ventilated spaces rather than masking it, and improves indoor air quality.

HOW TO USE

  • Clear and close the space — Empty the room of people, plants and pets, close the doors and windows, and switch off smoke detectors temporarily - the fog will set them off.
  • Fill the fogger — Pour the liquid undiluted into a heat fogging machine or smoke machine. It is supplied at working strength.
  • Fog one area at a time — Fumigate a single area per run rather than trying to cover a floor at once, and leave the AC or fan running so the fog recirculates.
  • Leave the fumes 15-20 minutes — That contact period is the dose. Cutting it short leaves the upper air and the fabric untreated.
  • Exhaust and re-enter — Exhaust through the AC, then re-enter. Switch the smoke detectors back on - this is the step that gets forgotten.
