PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Detpol SPC is a concentrated solar panel cleaner for rooftop and ground-mount installations. It lifts dust, grime, ash, oil and bird droppings off panel glass without leaving streaks or spots, and without the salt staining and scaling a plain water wash leaves behind - which is the reason panels often look worse a week after cleaning than before.
Dilution depends on the job. For general cleaning, 1 litre in 50 litres of water; for regular scheduled cleaning, 1 litre in 25 litres; for heavy scale or bird droppings, 1 litre in 10 litres applied to the affected area. A 5-litre pack therefore makes about 255 litres of general-purpose wash solution, or 130 litres at the regular-cleaning strength. Clean every 15 days to hold output.
Dirty panels are not a cosmetic problem - a soiled module absorbs less light and generates less power, and the loss compounds across an array. Detpol SPC is non-caustic and non-corrosive, safe on anti-reflective coatings, mounting brackets and polymer surfaces, so regular cleaning does not shorten panel life. Use a soft brush or microfibre only.

HOW TO USE
- Inspect before you clean — Check for loose, cracked or broken panels first. Washing a cracked module drives water into it.
- Pick the dilution — General cleaning: 1 L in 50 L of water. Regular scheduled cleaning: 1 L in 25 L. Heavy scale or bird droppings: 1 L in 10 L on the affected area only.
- Spray or sprinkle on — Apply the diluted solution across the panel face. Work in sections so nothing dries before it is wiped.
- Wipe lightly with soft brush or microfibre — Soft brush or microfibre only. Anything harder scratches the glass and damages the anti-reflective coating.
- Rinse and repeat every 15 days — Rinse clean. A fortnightly cycle keeps output up and stops deposits hardening into a job that needs the strong dilution.
